CNY!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Chinese New Year !! Its already the sixth day of the new year . I bet we recieve many angpau already . The weather is very hot this week . Oh~~ I hope it rains everyday !! Anyway , Happy CNY !!

My Holiday at PERTH...

1st day:19th December 2009

~Ate dinner at Elizabeth's place before leaving for LCCT airport.

~went up the plane at 12 midnight... Perth, here we come!
~realized that the plane is so small and not comfy enough to sleep in...(Air Asia)..arr..what a tiring flight!

2nd day:20th December 2009
~Reached Perth at 5+ in the morning....
~waited about an hour to get out of the airport due to immigration checkpoint...
~Uncle Lam Sing met us at the airport and took us to his house at North Beach. Aunty Yuet Yee cooked delicious breakfast for us... fried eggs, sausages with toast... yummy! "Hi" to Erwin & Ellissa!
~later, the parents went to the farmers' market to buy food supplies while we kids went for a walk at a forest reserve with Uncle Lam Sing...cant remember the name though....heard there was a bush fire there 2 years back....
~came back and played wii the whole day....

3rd day:21st December 2009
~Woke up early and went to Margaret River....very long drive....
~stayed at Sunflowers Farm Stay for 3 days; we had 2 chalets for the 11 of us....
~Chilli,the farmer's dog greeted us when we arrived
~Went to feed the animals.. there were horses, pigs, kangaroo, ostrich, chicken, guinea pigs, goats, emu, etc. we also bottle-fed the lambs. .... Night time we had BBQ for dinner - lamb, beef, kangaroo meat, and bacon!!!! Sam, the farmer's dog also came and joined us for the BBQ!!!! HEHE!!!!

4th Day:22nd December 2009

still at Margaret River
~Went to a chocolate factory...tried the samples and bought 1 pack of white chocolate
~Went to a Nut factory....
~went to a Winery for wine tasting and then we had lunch at a German restaurant "Duckstein Brewery".This place also popular for its German beer. I had "King Neptune" (fish n chips) while the others ate steak, fish, pork, etc.... real delicious lunch.
~After lunch, we went to Mammoth Cave.... a very beautiful limestone cave where we see lovely stalactite and stalagmite (is this how it's spelled?)
- After that, we actually wanted to go back to the farm for the tractor ride but didn't get to do so cos lack of time.. instead, we went to see the lighthouse (too bad, also closed..)
- We had bbq again for dinner.

5th Day:23rd December 2009

~Saw a dog outside our house...i called it 'Pug'
~Fed the animals..carried the baby chicks as well
~Hold G-Force as well...Hehe...They are actually guinea pigs.... we took some photos before we say sayonara to the farmstay.
~Went to the vineyard again and some wine tasting, olive farm
~Drove around very long to go back to Uncle Lam Sing's house
~ate McD for dinner.... got to pay for tomato sauce??!!
~ reached home very late

6th Day:24th December 2009

~Woke up today...didn't know its Christmas Eve...
~Went to White Man's Park....accurately...Caversham Wildlife Park
~Walked the whole day seeing all kinds of animals, fed the kangaroos, others.
~Saw Tasmanian devils fighting!!!! ^^
~took photos with a wombat,a blue-tongue lizard, a joey and koalas....^^
~Went to see farm show: watch the sheepdog rounding up the sheep, sheep shearing, milk the cow,whip cracking, swing a billy (tea), bottle feed the lamb....

7th Day:25th December 2009 .... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

~Wished everyone 'Merry Christmas' at midnight..... ~Went to sleep

~Went to Perth Chinese Christian Church

~Ate lunch at home ~Went to King's park for a picnic

~Jonathan graduated from apple pie making college....HAHAHA
~Ate dinner at home.. what a yummy christmas dinner we had - turkey, beef, lamb, prawns, vege, bacon, potato and ice wine for the adults!

~Play wii ~Open presents!!!!

8th day: 26th December 2009

~Went shopping at Karrinyup

~Walk walk walk ..Bought a few books

~At night, we went to Hillary Harbour and had a drink at the Dome

~ an interesting day again.

9th day:27th December 2009

~Went to Swan River... everyone bought a lot of honey.... sweet sweet honey

... and then to Fremantle ~Ate at Cicerello's for lunch!!! Fish And ChipSS!!!!

~~Went to the Busselton Jetty - the longest jetty ...

~Walked again and shopped for souvenirs

~Went to 大长今for dinner...(Korean food)

10th day:28th December 2009

~Went to town : Karrinyup again?

~window shopping and went to book shop

~had lunch at the food court… ate chinese food

~we had coffee and milk-shakes before leaving for home

11th day:29th December 2009

~Went to the beach ~play with a surf board....^^

~Played 'Monkey' in water....i always become the monkey...
~Stayed at home playing wii. Jonathan baked a chocolate cake for his sister's birthday.
~Went to Hillary again for dinner & fishing at night

~ so cold wind.. so some of us stayed in the car to play 20Q
~My dad and Erwin caught 1 fish each...
~Dad caught a HardyHead fish
~Aunty Yuet Yee fried it .. the fish tasted so sweet! (real fresh from the sea!!!)

~We celebrated Liz's birthday at night.... went to bed at past midnite..

12th Day:30th December 2009
~Woke up at 3am and left to airport at 3.30am...
~Flew back to Malaysia and here I am....

~overall, my trip was an interesting and memorable one …enjoyed playing with my friends...

~ "Thanks a lot, Uncle Lam Sing & Aunty Yuet Yee for your great hospitality…."

~Ellissa, miss saying goodbye to you... hope to see you & Erwin in KL soon!

Our Experience...

Last Thursday Amanda, Caleb, Elizabeth and I went to a refugee home at Kajang....they are the Myanmar refugees... This Christmas celebration event was organized by the Canadian Association of Malaysia and we were invited to come along. The pastor told us about their journey to Malaysia... It was said that a boat can only carry 40 people max. but they carried 50 over people in a boat.....Many people lost their lives during their journey, some of the boats sank and many drowned...some children lost their parents and some parents lost their children... It was so pitiful... Then, they performed a traditional dance...but it was incomplete because of the lacking of time...Then they sang a song....( I don't understand because it was in their language ) After that, we joined them in a dance...it was fun...^^ Then we gave out the gifts....which were candies and an envelope containing something....One by one they collected the gifts according to their numbers being called... Before we left, we sang them "We wish you a Merry Christmas" song. Then we went off to Jusco to have our lunch.....McDonalds!!!

Thank God!!!!

Last thursday, me, Liz and Amanda went to Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir, the sky as dark and then the whole car fell silent....We all prayed that it wouldn't rain and God answered our prayer and took the dark clouds away.....

IT"S CHRISTMAS TIME!!!!!!!

Yesterday, my parents and I went to Pavilion in the evening...we wanted to watch a movie~2012. But the tickets were only available for 9 pm or 12 am....so we decided not to watch it....
Anyway, can I have a Christmas tree??? please??? Just take a look at these Christmas trees in Pavilion and tell me if you would like to take it home with you....><
