The Horrible Day

On the 22nd of March 2010, after school,my mum & I went to fetch Erwin.Then when we were going back home,we saw lots of dark clouds.We knew it was going to have lighting and rain because they said it on the news.When we were halfway going home, it started to hail.There was lots of lighting,thunder and rain. We could hear all the hail hitting the car.It was very scary.When I looked on the road, the hail was big!We prayed that nothing bad will happen to us.Thank god we came back home safely.There were only a few dents on our car.At night,there was no electricity,so we had to use lots of candles and a few torches.The next day when I went back to school,i heard that some of them had flooded houses,some,their car's windows were smashed because of the hail,some, their roofs were broken and some had no electricity.My teacher's car was smashed.Nothing bad happened to us or the house because God protected us.I was so happy that it was over.
